Hello Collaboration Families,
December! As we get closer to the big break, we’ll begin 12 days of holiday dress-up and celebrate other cultures. In ELA, we’re working on our second personal narrative. Their first narratives came home on Monday. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, please do! In Social Studies, we’ll continue a group project that will focus on a slideshow simulation on the region of colonies the group decides to “move to.” Ask your child where they’re moving! In Math, we are reviewing for our assessment on Friday. Next week, student will need boxes to create their project. We're looking for boxes that are around the size of a cereal box or smaller. Any rectangular prism shaped box will do--small ones like cream cheese shaped boxes or larger ones like small Amazon boxes are great! Please send those in if you have them. Please no large boxes. In Science, we are continuing our performance task for unit 1. Students are thinking deeply about their learning in Ecosystems.
