Hello Collaboration Families,
We have 2 full weeks left until the Collaboration Cabin Store! The students will have more class time to work as the date gets closer. We are very excited for their stores to open to the public on the 17th! Store Projects: May 17th is fast approaching! Students are beginning to create their products this week. Please start inviting friends and family to join in on the shopping. Even if they don’t buy items, it helps the students to learn and it gives an air of busyness to the sales night. If you know that your child cannot be present on the 17th, please let us know as soon as possible so we can help their team plan for their absence. In ELA, students will continue to research their side of the argument they’re working on. They’ll choose better evidence and record their thinking on why that evidence is important and supports their reason. In Social Studies, students will finish their skits tomorrow. Next week we’ll start on a new unit, Westward Expansion. In Math, students are finishing their learning about multiplying decimals right now, and Friday we will be taking our assessment on these concepts. In Science, we have started our unit on Chemistry. Ask your child about their penny experiment!
