Hello Collaboration Families,
How has this year flown by so quickly? We cannot believe that the 4th quarter begins on Monday! We have loved working with your children and getting to know them as a person and learner. Be prepared for some really fun things coming up in the 4th quarter of the school year! Store Projects: Be looking for investor letters from your child. Please know that anything you invest in your child’s store will be paid back after the sales night. It’s fine to donate your investment to the Giving Tree, but this is not expected. Thank you for your support for the store! In ELA, students will finish this week with a pre assessment on our new unit, Argument & Advocacy. This will focus on point of view and perspective. Next week, students will begin preparing for the Forward exam and get into the new unit. In Social Studies, we’ll finish the Revolutionary War lessons and get ready to start skits. In Math, we have begun learning about decimal place values and next week will begin adding and subtracting decimals. In Science, we are investigating the different ways our world interacts with objects in Space. This has been quite exciting for the students, and I’m sure they would love to tell you about the things they are learning. Things to be aware of: March 31st End of Quarter 3 Incentive! This is also available here on the website in the Homework tab. Water Bottles: Please make sure your child has a refillable water bottle at school to stay hydrated. Any recyclable drink container is also welcome for students to use (ex. empty gatorade bottle) If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
