Hello Collaboration Families,
Happy March! Only one and a half weeks until Spring Break and 2 and a half weeks left in third quarter! We can’t believe we’re already at this point of the year. In ELA, students will finish their conclusions and start creating and finding the text features for their books. Their Book Creator project will be finished a few days after Spring Break. In Social Studies, we’ll continue our unit on the Revolutionary War. We’ll continue going over the effects of the war. In Math, we are learning to divide with fractions and the students are absolutely mastering this concept. Next week will assess this skill on Friday. In Science, we are beginning our Space unit. We are learning the way our planet interacts with the other objects in our solar system. Ask your child about why the sun sets so early in the winter versus the summer.
